Description

The room display shows up to three values simultaneously: CO2 levels in ppm, relative humidity in percent, and temperature in degrees Celsius. This allows users to monitor air quality right where it occurs, without needing access to the building management system.

The device does not take measurements itself. It receives data from an EnOcean sensor via the VL-700 BASE’s EnOcean Control System and displays it. Multiple displays can use the same data source, allowing a single measurement location to be visible in multiple places.

The e-paper retains its content without a power supply and remains readable even when the lighting is turned off. A status bar at the bottom displays the operating status, with the battery charge level shown below it.

The display is powered by two AAA batteries with a service life of approximately five years. No wiring to the device is required; installation involves simply securing it to the wall with a single screw.

For service and maintenance, the device is housed in a keyhole-style mount. The batteries are freely accessible from the back; to replace them, simply remove the display from the wall—there is no need to open the housing.

The data source is assigned in the EnOcean Control System by specifying the sensor slot. By default, the display updates its values every five minutes.
